Description: - ff. i + 187 - 15th or early 16th century Flemish panel-stamped brown calf over boards, blind; central panel containing birds, thistle (?), dog (?), three flowers and a stag; bordered by inscription reading "o mater dei memento mei." - Collection of Michael Linel (1830-1892) and Albert Linel (1833-1916). Acquired by the city of Frankfurt for the Kunstgewerbemuseum by purchase in 1892 & by bequest, 1916. Ms. LM 8 of this museum until deaccessioned in 1953. Purchased for Spencer, 1954. - Dict.
