Deposited in the Celton loan chest at Oxford as a pledge, 3 April 1400 by Nicholas Henry (d. 1427) and John Vyfyan; later owned by William Bromley (s. xvi-s. xvii). Emden, Biographical Register of the University of Oxford to AD 1500, pp. 1151, 910, 1952 and 542.Later, belonged to Robert Brent (s. XVII). Andrew Gifford (1700-1784), bequeathed by Gifford to the Baptist College, Bristol. - N. R. Ker, Medieval Manuscripts in British Libraries (1977) 2:193-194 under Bristol Baptist College, with call number Z.d.39, for the early provenance and the careful description of the text with its prologues.
