Description: f. 1 - Not bound. - Sotheby's, 28 May 1934, lot 100, and then Dawson's Book Shop, Los Angeles; bought there by Otto F. Ege (1888-1951) and described as Ege's by S. De Ricci, Census of Medieval and Renaissance Manuscripts in the United States and Canada, p. 1947, n. 65; donated to the University of Vermont by Frank Teagle, a letterpress-printer who worked for Otto Ege's widow and who may have received at least some of these leaves as compensation for his work. Note that MS Leaf 15 in this library is also from the same manuscript. -

Other Decoration: The first letter of each line is a rustic capital. Plain blue initials mark the beginning of acts. Red capitals list characters at the head of acts. Red lettering marks characters' sigla.

Dutschke by Dr. A.C. de la Mare (contradicting her earlier attribution in print to Messer Marco) with regard to Columbia, RBML, Med/Ren Frag. 004.
